How do I choose my aerobar spacing?
Aerobar positioning is crucial for both comfort and aerodynamics.
However, there is no standard width. The spacing mainly depends on your body morphology and your use (comfort, performance, long-distance riding, etc.).
To determine your ideal spacing, several methods are possible:
• Try different positions on a round handlebar fitted with aerobars
• Perform a professional bike fitting
You can also use a simple method:
Get into the aero position on your bike (as if you had aerobars), then measure the distance between your forearms.
This measurement is the spacing you should enter in the configurator.
Once your AERO PLUG is installed, you will still be able to adjust:
• the armrest position
• the rotation of the aerobar extensions
As a reference, the average spacing among our customers is around 11 cm, which is generally a good balance between aerodynamics and comfort.
