Which aerobar model should I choose?
There is no universal aerobar model.
Each model is different, and the choice mainly depends on your position, your riding style and your budget.
Aerobars are highly personal, and what works for one rider may not work for another.
Here are some general guidelines to help you choose:
• Budget / value for money
DEDA aerobars generally offer a good price-to-performance ratio and are often a good entry-level option.
• Long-distance riding
For more demanding riding or long-distance events, many athletes prefer models from PROFILE DESIGN or ZIPP.
• Aluminum or carbon
Carbon versions usually allow for weight savings.
On average, expect to pay about €100 to save 100 grams.
• High-end models
Some aerobars are considered more premium, such as:
- PROFILE DESIGN 52 ASC
- DEDA Jet One
Ultimately, the choice mainly depends on your position, comfort and budget.
