What material are AERO PLUG adapters made from?
AERO PLUG adapters are manufactured in-house at Rétro Ouest Conception using SLA 3D printing technology.
SLA (stereolithography) is a process that uses a laser to cure liquid resin into solid plastic through photopolymerization.
We use a technical resin specifically selected for the AERO PLUG plastic inserts.
This material offers mechanical properties similar to ABS, with excellent rigidity and high strength.
The plastic inserts are then sandwiched between two metal parts, which reinforces the overall structure and ensures a secure clamping on the handlebar.
AERO PLUG adapters weigh approximately 280 grams on average, including hardware.
